“When I use pruning shears, I’m afraid I’ll cut off completely different things,” says Jan, laughing. “It would be nice if the apple tree were pruned anyway, but especially if all trees were cut back to about 2 meters.” Due to various health problems it is no longer possible to do this yourself.
“You can all take the prunings with you. With winter approaching, this might be useful for a wood-burning stove,” says Jan.
