At the house on Aletta Jacobsstraat in Heemskerk, the FIOD is supported by the police and customs. They are present in large numbers and some of them wear face coverings and bulletproof vests.
Less than a fifteen minute drive away, on the Parralelweg in Beverwijk, the FIOD simultaneously raided a business premises.
Raids linked together
The spokesperson for the FIOD cannot yet say ‘in connection with this criminal investigation’ why these raids are being carried out. It is still unclear whether any arrests have been made.
