The Court of Naples postpones the decision on new buyers. Agnello’s response on the capital increase is due by 8 June, then the judges will evaluate the offers from Guerri and the Swiss fund. If the Campanians don’t register by the 16th, the Apulians are ready to take over
Today’s interlocutory hearing for the future of Juve Stabia, in front of the prevention measures section of the Court of Naples. In fact, there has been a postponement to June 10th for the definition of new possible buyers who should take over the club from judicial administration. There is optimism, but the new hearing will undeniably be close to the deadline for registrations set for June 16th. If the transfer is successful, it will therefore be necessary to rush to resolve all the economic and administrative tasks in time. In the next few days, meanwhile, a significant intermediate step will take place: the directors Salvatore Scarpa and Mario Ferrara have given Francesco Agnello – current owner of the club, whose shares are however under seizure – until 8 June to proceed with the already approved capital increase of 6,901,000. If this does not happen (as is very likely), the judges will decide to which interested party to sell the company. The most concrete hypothesis leads to the entrepreneur Alfredo Guerri, former sponsor of Juve Stabia, ready to intervene with the necessary resources; but the Swiss fund Swiss Gulf Holding also presented the expression of interest. In the event of failure to register, the scenario of readmission would open up for the first of the relegated teams from Serie B to C, in this case Bari, who remain on the sidelines.
