Who has images of the area surrounding ‘t Lusthof in Koksijde, where the owner died under suspicious circumstances?
The body of the man in his forties was found on September 7 in his restaurant ‘t Lusthof in Sint-Idesbald, a sub-municipality of Koksijde. However, based on the initial findings of the medical examiner, no exact cause of death could be determined. According to the Veurn department of the West Flanders public prosecutor’s office, all possible options are still open.
At the request of the investigating judge, an investigation notice was distributed on Thursday morning. The police are mainly looking for camera images in Strandlaan and Willem Elsschotlaan in the period from Tuesday, September 5 at 8 a.m. to Thursday, September 7 at 11 a.m. Not only images from surveillance cameras, but also from dashcams or doorbell cameras, for example, can be useful for the judicial investigation.
