The Emergency Committee of the World Health Organization WHO will gather on Thursday, July 21 to discuss the worldwide outbreak of the monkeypox virus. Among other things, the Emergency Committee will discuss whether the outbreak should be described as a “medical emergency of international scope”, the organization’s highest alert level.
