All Star night is always huge news for basketball fans. After the 10 starters with their respective captains were announced on January 27, the question is: Who deserves to be selected as a substitute?
To begin with, it should be noted that a total of 14 players, seven per conference will be chosen based on the following requirements: two outside players, three inside players and two extra players.
Western Conference
In the team led by LeBron (Los Angeles Lakers) and accompanied by Stephen Curry (Golden State Warriors), Ja Morant (Memphis Grizzlies) Andrew Wiggins (Golden State Warriors) and Nikola Jokić (Denver Nuggets) alternates could be:

- IInterior 1: Rudy Gobert (Utah Jazz). The defensive wall has risen to the top of the efficiency rankings with 16p 15r and 2 plugs.
- Inside 2: Karl-Anthony Towns (Minnesota Timberwolves). The Dominican is having a great season leading some young “wolves” with 24’4p and 9’5r
- Interior 3: Draymon Green (Golden State Warriors). Green remains a high-impact player despite not averaging double figures (7 points in points, rebounds and assists)
- Free 1: Donovan Michel (Utah Jazz). Leading scorer for one of the best teams in the West. 25’5p they vouch for him
- Free 2: Devin Booker (Phoenix Suns). The second best player on the team with the best record also deserves to be in the All Star. 25’5p total.
Western Conference
In the team led by during (Brooklyn Nets) and accompanied by Bring Young (Atlanta Hawks), DeMar DeRozan (Chicago Bulls) Giannis Antetokounmpo (Milwaukee Bucks) and Joel Embid (Philadelphia 76ers) alternates could be:
- Outside 1: James Harden (Brooklyn Nets): Beard has continued to be one of the best players in the league. His averages are 22.1p and 10.2a
- Outside 2: Zach LaVine (Chicago Bulls): Lavine has shown that well surrounded he is one of the best scorers. 24.9p They vouch for his talent.
- Inside 1: Jimmy Butler (Miami Heat): Despite missing quite a few games, Butler’s season leading the heats deserves his pick. 21.3p 6.3r and 6.4a
- Inside 2: Jayson Tatum (Boston Celtics): It has not been his best season (both individually and collectively), but he is still a star: 26p total.
- Inside 3: Jarrett Allen (Cleveland Cavaliers): The center has been key for his team to be one of the league’s revelations. 16.1p and 10.8r They show it as such.
- Free 1: LaMelo Ball (Charlotte Hornets): The youngest of the Ball family deserves to be considered a star. 19.5p 7.2r 7.7a for the young leader of Charlotte.
- Free 2: Darius Garland (Cleveland Cavaliers): Another one for Cleveland, Garland has shown that he is also a star. 19.8p and 8.2a and a fourth place for his team.
