Who are the biggest defaulters in Spain in 2023? Consult the complete list of the Treasury

The list of delinquents with the Treasury in Spain dropped by 2023 13.7% compared to last year. There are a total of 6,076 debtors with the Tax agency, a list that reaches the tenth edition and that includes people and companies with a firm debt of more than 600,000 euros at the end of 2022. The global amount of debts of these defaulters is 15,212 million euros. The joint debt is 14.1% lower than that published the previous year.

Luis Antonio Rivera Zapico, a businessman linked to the real estate sector, is the natural person with the greatest debt. Specifically, with a debt of more than 21 million euros. Of the total of those 6,076 debtors, just over 1,000 are individuals, whose debt amounts to 1,390 million euros, and 5,067 are legal persons for an amount of 13,823 million, so the majority of debtors are companies. In addition, 41% of the debt corresponds to processes of bankruptcy (the old suspension of payments).
