The World Health Organization (WHO) no longer classifies the corona pandemic as an international emergency. Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus made the announcement Friday at a press conference. He estimated that the pandemic has killed “at least 20 million” people, almost three times more than the official figures.
