Microsoft Endpoint Manager provides a modern workspace and capabilities for managing and securing your cloud and on-premises data. Indeed it is mainly composed of Microsoft Intune and Configuration Manager.
The first is a Cloud solution, the second is used for the local management of Endpoints. Of course, these two services can be managed together. This is co-management. This tool allows you to register devices to ensure their total management from an Administrator console. Once registered, the management covers the entire device, this is the case of devices belonging to a company or simply managing the applications thereof.
From Microsoft Endpoint Manager, you can apply restrictions on the devices or applications that you have connected. These configurations can be reused on devices recently integrated by the company.
