Cain Seedorf appeared in front of the camera with mixed feelings. The Telstar attacker was very disappointed with the loss against Willem II (2-1), but he thought that his team achieved a good level in Tilburg. “We did put something down today.”
In the first ten minutes Telstar had two decent chances in the atmospheric Koning Willem II Stadium. During the first half Willem II gained control and the domination of the game. That led to a lead. A falling ball from a standard situation. The second Tilburg goal also arose from a similar situation. Trainer Mike Snoei saw his team concede goals against from free kicks, just like last week.

Seedorf is in his first months in Velsen-South. This summer he made the transfer from ADO Den Haag to Telstar on a free transfer. At the moment he still plays on an amateur basis, but if it is up to Seedorf himself, that will soon change. Against Willem II he played an important role in Glynor Plet’s equalizer.

After three games, Telstar has one point. The next game is next Friday at home against Helmond Sport.
