Many stars have been immortalized as wax dolls. Who do you look like?
Wax dolls are an art form that has seen more successful and less successful examples. Finland’s only wax cabinet is located in Visulahti. The wax cabinet in question is a phenomenon, but not necessarily because of the clear resemblance between the dolls and the stars.
Madame Tussauds is the world’s most famous wax museum. Today, there are wax cabinets all over the world bearing the name of their founder. The likenesses of such iconic stars as Elvis and Marilyn Monroe are admirable, but also new public figures are immortalized as wax dolls here and there.
In February, London’s Madame Tussauds wax cabinet got a new resident, when rap artist Drake got his own wax doll for the public to admire.
