During the month of May, the Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP) will promote new public auctions. The merchandise offered consists mostly of electronic items; from cameras, cell phones and speakers to audio and video game consoles, among others. These objects were seized, at the time, by the General Directorate of Customs (DGA) as a result of irregularities detected during control procedures.
In this sense, the merchandise offered by the DGA at auction is all that is not of interest for its donation, aims to free up space in the different warehouses, and in turn allows extra income for the State to be obtained. The day chosen for the auction is Thursday, May 18 at 12 noon and lots of cell phones, consoles and different electronic items will be offered with a total value of 491,307 pesos.
As for cell phones, the offer packages available are varied, but most of them are within the low and medium-low range. smartphones Motorola, models G4, G5 and Z2, are the most economical of the auction proposal. The prices of these devices are around between 3,000 and 4,000 pesos. Most do not have a charger.
The line samsung will be available for auction with their models Galaxy J2 Pro and J7 Pro, which will be at a base cost between 6,000 and 10,000 pesos. On the other hand, some iPhones will be in the auction at a value of approximately 6,000 base pesos, corresponding to the model iPhone 6s Silver Gray and iPhone 6s Space Gray. All these devices without their original charger.
These auction processes are carried out online, through the Banco Ciudad auction platform, within the framework of the current agreement between both entities. The merchandise, the base price of each lot and a description carried out by the responsible appraisers are detailed on the portal of the bank.
The process to participate is simple, agile and dynamic. You must register as a user through the self-management site of the city Bank to the auction in which you want to participate and make the transfer of the surety. It is suggested with a minimum notice of 48 hours. Once the registration is confirmed, the bid will be entered on the scheduled day and time.
On the other hand, in view of the high demand that the agency’s auctions have been registering, an additional day will be incorporated. On Tuesdays, the public sale of precious metals, precious stones, works of art, boats, cars and motorcycles will take place. In the first four months of the current year, the auctions carried out raised a total of 152,007,000 pesos, a figure that is equivalent to the amount that entered the entire 2022 period.
