Andalusia has approved the first Emergency Plan for the Risk of Tsunami in Spain after having analyzed the real danger that a tsunami could reach the Andalusian coast if a large-scale seismic movement occurs.
Andalucía is also the autonomous community with the most kilometers of coastline (almost 1,000 km), with 500 beaches spread over 62 municipalities, hence the desire to protect the population from a catastrophe of these characteristics.
