‘Where were all the A-stars at the Televizier gala?!’

Luuk Ikink thinks it is a shame that the really big TV stars were missing on Thursday evening at the Gouden Televizier-Ring Gala. As a result, a bit of shine was missing, says the RTL Boulevard star.

The Gouden Televizier-Ring Gala has been the subject of ridicule for years and the number of A-stars making appearances is decreasing further and further. Also this year the really big stars stayed at home. It’s a shame, says Luuk Ikink. He had traveled to the television party in the capital.

Few A-stars

Luuk looked around, but saw few really big stars. He himself was one of the bigger ones. “It’s a little bit of a shame that all those big stars – I don’t want to say from the past, but now – were not there. Eva Jinek, Chantal Janzen, NikkieTutorials, André van Duin, Paul de Leeuw, Wendy van Dijk, Marieke.”

All those big names weren’t there. “They all probably have good reasons for not being there, but it’s a shame anyway. I would still like it if the organization tries a little harder to bring in those people as well. That makes such a party even more beautiful.”

There were especially many young people, according to Luuk. “I thought it was remarkable that there were so many young people in the room. I almost felt really old, because everyone was there for Robbert Rodenburg or for someone else they were encouraging. Then it turns out that the TV world is really changing.”

Reporter Aran Bade seems to understand why all those A-stars stay away. He thought Wolter Kroes’s wrist fracture was the most spectacular during rehearsals. “That was actually the most spectacular of the evening. I also found it a bit boring.”
