Yolanthe Cabau denies that her divorce from Wesley Sneijder has yielded around 19 million euros and she is still there. Where does her money come from? “From the legacy!”
It has been the subject of conversation for days now: where does Yolanthe Cabau pay for her luxury life in Los Angeles van? She has never broken through as an actress in Hollywood and those few jobs in the Netherlands can only pay a flat in the Bijlmer. And then she has a ‘lifestyle brand’, but the success is also seriously doubted.
19 million
She still benefits from her divorce with Wesley Sneijder, Telegraaf reporter Jordi Versteegden of the week in his podcast suggested. “She reportedly ended around 19 million in the end.”
Yolanthe denies that now. She is happy with all the positive reactions to her Netflix soap. “But there is also something else going on. Namely news items with pure inaccuracies,” she writes Instagram. “A lot has been said and written about me over the years and I have always chosen not to respond to it.”
‘Is not true’
Until now, says Yolanthe. “Now that I have chosen to share my entire life with the world in my reality show on Netflix, I feel the need to be transparent about this. Share various media that I would have received 19 million from Wesley when we separated. This is anything but true.”
She explains: “I have never received money from Wesley (nothing, zero) and never asked for that. I take care of all the bills for me and for Xess. It is claimed that I speak so respectfully and lovingly about Wesley because he would have given me so much money.”
Respectful
There is no Sikkepit, according to Yolanthe. “It is a shame that we live in a world where people think so. A woman cannot stand on her own two feet and are loving and respectful at the same time.”
She continues: “Why I share this now? Because I think it is important to show that as a woman you can follow your own path and dreams, even if you are standing alone.”
‘Heritage!’
How does Yolanthe get all that money? BN’er photographer William Rutten gives in Shownieuws The redeeming answer. “But guys: everyone forgets that she also had an inheritance, isn’t it? She got that beautiful house, she rents out. She has enough income.”
Yolanthe’s father, Xavier, was a wealthy hospitality entrepreneur in Ibiza and therefore left that villa, among other things. Colleague Dyantha Brooks: “You will be reminded of that in that series. They go to that beautiful house in Ibiza. That money also seems to come from there.”
30,000 euros
Bart Ettekoven agrees that story. “That house is also available for rent a few months a year and not for a silly amount, namely for 25,000 to 30,000 euros a week, so if you rent it out for a few months a year, you can live in LA for the rest of the year in the rest of the year”
Star broker Leslie de Ruiter: “She still has a few sisters, hey, with whom she has to share it.”
All that
That is not the case, William emphasizes. According to him, she does not have to share that income with her sisters. “No, they all got something.”
Bart: “Yes, and she got this house.”
William: “That man was the king of Ibiza.”
