André Hazes jr. is only 29 years old, while his flashing light fiancée Monique Westenberg is turning 46 this year. What if she’s fifty? Does he still want to continue? “We’ll see!”
They have known each other for nine years now: André Hazes Jr. and Monique Westenberg, the woman he occasionally dumps to get dirty with someone his own age. Now they are together again. Well, they say they see each other about two and a half days a week. André does want to ask her to marry him again, but how future-proof are they?
Stupid things
In four years’ time, Monique will be a woman of fifty, while André will still be in his early thirties. “People like to see you with Monique. But she’s getting older and you get a lot of female attention. Don’t you think in five years: give me a younger version of Monique? How do you resist those temptations?” asks a journalist from the Weekend it.
André says he no longer likes other girls. “The fact that you no longer drink ensures that you know your limits. That really saves and that is very relaxed. When I look at the nights with steps and things like that, you just do stupid things.”
Use cup
Andre no longer does that. “Now I’m either not even in those places where strange things happen, or I can use my head Not this one (points to his pants, ed.) But this (points to his face, ed.) haha!”
Anyway: how does he look at that age difference? And that Monique is almost fifty? He says about this: “When Monique and I started a relationship, people already said to me: ‘Soon she will be old and then you will be only that old…’ Yes, we will see that again, I think.”
without obligation
André’s answer is of course a bit painful, because it seems that he is a bit indifferent to their relationship. ‘We’ll see about that later’, after all, sounds very noncommittal and Monique can undoubtedly interpret that as cold or loveless, although she has swallowed more of André over the years…
Incidentally, critics believe that André and Monique have anything but a regular relationship with each other. They state that they treat each other like mother and son. “And that is really not healthy.”
