The third edition of The Night of the Antiques It will take place on Thursday, April 13 in the Historic Center of Buenos Aires. From 6 to 9:30 p.m., on Calle Defensa, between Avenida San Juan and Avenida Independencia, the antique dealers of the traditional San Telmo neighborhood will be present.
The sale of antiques is a fundamental part of the identity of the San Telmo neighborhood and its historic center is part of the idiosyncrasies of the place. As in previous years, the celebration will take place on Calle Defensa, which will become a pedestrian street, and on Plaza Dorrego, together with the San Pedro Telmo Antiques Fair.
In the meeting, there will be tango classics and own compositions for bandoneon and guitar, by the duo Rubino Reinado, and tango exhibition in Plaza Dorrego. Jazz shows will also be offered at different points, performed by Damsel Talk, next to Axel Mark and the dance crew Swing Club Stomping.
In addition to the best of classical jazz with touches of tango, for Antique Street Band. At the end, the set will be presented obsolete ear, in his version marching band, touring the four blocks of Calle Defensa that covers the event. The proposal will have guided tours, with prior registration, to learn more about antique dealers and their main objects, in charge of the Antique Dealers Association.
The Night of the Antiques in the Historical Center of the City is organized by the Ministry of Culture of the City of Buenos Aires. For tourists, the tour circuit with guides is divided into two meeting points: Defensa and Av. San Juan, and Defensa and Av. Independencia, at 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
