“I am reaching 80 years of age. The general form of the show is also due to the pleasure of the almost post-pandemic return to the stage and the attention to my history in this art so loved and well cultivated by Brazilians, although my reservations about my talent, for him, have not dissipated” he claimed Caetano Veloso, with his usual humor and sensitivity.
Together with his virtuoso band, Caetano Veloso will arrive in Argentina in June to present at the Movistar Arena his last job as part of the tour “My Coco”, in a show that also goes through the most important moments of his musical career. “I think of the sequence of songs like who is in front of a moviola. I have the soul of a filmmaker, although I do not have the physical vocation of such. Thus, the distribution of new and well-known songs does not have the mere function of pleasing the spectators who want to hear live what they have learned on the new album and those who seek to try out my already consecrated stuff. The criteria goes much further. The presence of something old, but almost unknown, sheds light on what the eventual union of an evident success with an equally evident and striking song from the new album means”, advanced the author of classics such as “Fora da ordem” and “Capullito de alelí”.
