The Whatsapp instant messaging application is getting a new update. The new update brings with it the so-called “Companion mode” feature, which allows the account to be linked to a maximum of four different phones.

Until now, the application’s account could be used in addition to the phone, for example, with a computer browser, but with limited features.

With the new update, it is possible for the user to activate the application’s account also on, for example, a work phone. The feature also works when the primary phone does not have an internet connection.
