Screenshots of images and videos viewed once are going to be blocked.

Whatsapp now offers the familiar images and videos from Instagram and Snapchat that can be viewed once. Soon Whatsapp will block screenshots from them.
Informative, following Whatsapp features and updates WABetaInfo said that screenshot blocking has been introduced for some beta users, but it is being rolled out to everyone later. However, there is still no more precise schedule for the official release of the feature.
If you try to take a screenshot of an image or video intended for viewing once, a notification pops up from the application telling you that it is not possible to take a screenshot.
“This screenshot was blocked for enhanced privacy,” the app says.
Blocking screenshots brings a much-needed degree of privacy protection to the application, but does not prevent images from being captured completely. The recipient can take a picture of the picture with, for example, another phone’s camera, which is worth keeping in mind if the purpose is to send pictures that you don’t want to spread.
At the same time, it is possible to take screenshots of the messages themselves as usual without notifying the sender of the message separately.
