Tjap tjoy means ‘mixed vegetables’ in Dutch. We are going for a variant that includes chestnut mushrooms and white cabbage, but you can basically use any firm vegetables you have at home.

– 3 cloves of garlic
– 1 onion
– 1 pak choi
– 100 gr white cabbage
– 150 gr chestnut mushrooms
– 3 tbsp sunflower oil
– 75 gr bean sprouts
– 1 tbsp cornflour (or potato starch)
– 150 ml of warm water
– ½ vegetable stock cube
– 1 tsp sesame oil
– 2 tbsp soy sauce
– 1 tbsp oyster sauce
