What to see in the 2023 edition of Estilo Pilar

Organized by the Friends of Pilar Association, The exhibition brings together the latest trends in design and maintains its charitable purposes. In this nineteenth edition of Pillar style, The exhibition opened its doors in the exclusive surroundings of Pilará, located at kilometer 56.5 of the Panamericana. The exhibition is pet friendly and will be open to the public until November 5, from Thursday to Sunday.

Visitors will be able to enjoy more than 100 spaces dedicated to design, workshops, a large shopping area, a varied gastronomic offer and special attractions. In addition, the little ones will be able to interact with animals in the farm sector and they will be able to enjoy live shows that will make the visit a unique and unforgettable experience. This year the novelty is the presentation of ART Style, a new exhibition with an eye on the future of art with more than 20 selected painters and sculptures will also take precedence throughout the tour.

The decoration, art, landscaping, industry and architecture event is considered the largest in the region. As on other occasions, the proceeds will be used to provide qualified and free dental care to low-income children in the Pilar district. Among the spaces created by architects and decorators, a coworking stand out, a golfer’s house, a polo player’s house, a tiny house, an architect’s studio apartment, a lodge, a pilot’s space, among others. In addition, muralists who will give color and shine to the exhibition.

The meeting will feature a shopping tour where visitors will be able to discover the latest design trends and purchase unique objects to bring a little piece of Pilar Style to their homes. With an impressive landscaping proposal, the exhibition expresses the mix between urban life in contact with nature, where seven expert landscapers will be present to offer advice and guide attendees in creating harmonious and stylish spaces.

Pillar Style

Since 1999, the exhibition’s proposal is to promote architecture, interior and exterior design, art and landscaping, satisfying the needs of people who left the city to settle in the Buenos Aires region in search of a life with greater contact with the nature. As usual, the space will have the presence of the Board of Directors of the NGO Amigos del Pilar, made up of its president Haydee BurgueñoSecretary Mercedes Pieresvowels Mercy Menditeguy, Andrea Muñoz, Laila Huber, Paula Kocourek, Pilar Diezsubstitute Cecilia Castro and the art advisor Agustina MazzinYo.

Pillar Style

Since 1996, this non-governmental organization has been working in the Pilar district with the mission of providing help to low-income children in terms of dental health: “A Pillar with dignified care for those with low resources”. In this way, in 2019 they inaugurated the inclusive dental offices at the Pilares de Esperanza Rehabilitation Center, which were built and equipped by Amigos del Pilar with the proceeds raised in the last editions of the exhibition. These offices are equipped with a dental chair, instruments and X-ray equipment. The experts who serve in this space are specialized in caring for children with different abilities.
