The McLaren boss Zak Brown has challenged Mercedes team manager Toto Wolff to a boxing match, reports ESPN.
Brown would like to jump into the boxing ring with Wolff in November during the Las Vegas competition weekend.
– I have spoken to Toto about this. We’ll see if he’s up for it.
Wolff has not yet responded to Brown’s challenge.
– When we go to Vegas, what is Vegas known for? About a little boxing match? I’m ready for it, Brown vowed.
Brown also wants to race against Red Bull’s Christian Horner on the track. The two competed at the same time in the mid-1990s in the British Formula 3 series.
– We talked about racing with Christian at Silverstone, because we have raced against each other before.
The start of McLaren’s season has been challenging, and neither Lando Norris nor Oscar Piastri scored points in the first two races.
Last weekend, however, the points account opened when Norris was sixth and Piastri eighth in the Australian race.
Mercedes, on the other hand, has shown some signs of cheering up and the team’s race pace looked quite good in Australia. Lewis Hamilton was the second in the race in the end, but George Russell had to interrupt.
Led by Horner, Red Bull has been superior since the beginning of the season and the team’s cars have won every race of the early season so far.
