A new song appeared on the Spotify account of rapper Cheek, aka Jare Tiihonen, the night before Friday. Cow -song is an instrumental, and you don’t hear the voice of a familiar rapper at all. The song lasts about two minutes.
Cheek, who has had a spectacular career, put the whistles in the bag with his solo career in 2018. The rapper who has become the top name in the Finnish music world has not given any indication of his possible return.
A new song has also been released on the Spotify account of the Nylon Beat group, which stopped in 2003. Nylon Beat Boogie -song is also instrumental and lasts a couple of minutes.
Erin Anttilan and Jonna Geagean formed by the popular duo has made a few comeback gigs, but the band has not talked about coming again.
Neither Tiihonen, Anttila nor Geagea have commented on the songs on social media. For now, the question of whether the artists’ Spotify accounts have been hacked is also open.

At the beginning of December 2021, Tiihonen opened up about his affiliations and finances in an interview with Helsingin Sanomat’s Kuukausiliitte.
Tiihonen said that he still earns more than 100,000 euros a year from Spotify listening times, even though he released his last album in 2015.
