What on earth? Finland’s Independence Day is very visible in New York

A Suomi ad was seen in Times Square.

Finnish NBA star Lauri Markkanen is currently on a game trip in Dallas, but Independence Day is still on the man’s mind.

On his Instagram account, Markkanen shared a video published by the Consulate General of Finland, which shows a spectacular advertisement for Finland in Manhattan’s Times Square.

– The iconic Times Square was lit up to celebrate Finland’s 106 years of independence – the country of 168,000 lakes, the home of Santa Claus, the sky of the northern lights and the state of the happiest people in the world, the update civilizes Americans.
