AC Oulu respects KuPS.

Veikkausliiga club AC Oulu will play tomorrow Tuesday in a new uniform against Kuopio Palloseura, the club says on its website.
The old familiar navy blue color remains in the jerseys, but the shirt springs are yellow.
The ads that appear on the game outfit are printed in yellow. The socks and playing pants are yellow, but the prints are in navy blue.
Oulu says that it wants to pay respect to the 100-year history of KuPS. The club also wants to honor the founding club Oulu Luistinseura with its game uniform.
– Our two different game outfits have remained pretty much unchanged in recent years. For a long time, we wanted to tear things up a bit and try something new. A home match against Kuopio Palloseura was selected as the campaign match, which is also a free event for juniors. With the color yellow, we want to pay tribute to the 100-year history of KuPS and our founding club Oulu Skating Club, AC Oulu development director Juho Meriläinen says the club before the match.
Oulu says in advance that there will be no fan product versions of the game uniforms. They will also be auctioned later.

The club’s decision to honor KuPS, i.e. the rival team, has confused some of the Twitter crowd.
– A very confusing pattern. So a new kit for one match?, one Twitter user write.
– What the hell again, another one wondering.
– This sounds strange. I would say that there are few supporters who want their club’s jersey to have references to another club (pl. OLS in this case), the third thinking.
AC Oulu and KuPS will meet on Tuesday from 18:00. Before Tuesday’s match, the Oulu team is fifth in the series, while KuPS, which changed its head coach in April, is third.
