Brussels: ‘The Netherlands played itself checkmate with nitrogen’
The nitrogen specter has been holding our country hostage for a few years now, but the word ‘nitrogen’ does not even appear in European regulations. The Netherlands has played itself checkmate, it sounds in The Hague and Brussels. There is little enthusiasm about returning to the drawing board.
