The Ukrainian Kalush Orchestra is on its way to a visa victory. But what if Ukraine wins visas? Where will the Eurovision Song Contest take place next year?
The winner will always arrange next year’s visas, but not next year it is extremely unlikely that Ukraine will arrange visas. Even if the war was over, Ukraine would not be able to hold visas.
According to information received by Iltalehti, next year’s visa location is already clear. Finland would have been strong, but Finland does not have a place to arrange visas, as there is no visa-satisfying arena in Helsinki when Hartwall Arena is under sanctions.
The Nokia arena in Tampere would be in favor of the arena, but for other reasons it would not be possible to arrange visas in Tampere. Tampere does not have enough accommodation capacity and the big, decent airport is too far away.
According to unconfirmed data, next year’s visas will be held at Stockholm’s Friends Arena. London has also been on display. So is Germany.
