Singer-musician Lauri Tähkä has released his signature wine with a wine wholesaler.
Finnish musician Lauri Tähkä or Jarkko Suo has been charged with a sexual crime. Forced to commit a sexual act is a crime. The matter came to light on Thursday. Tähkä has publicly denied that he committed the crime.

The bottle’s label mentions Tähkä’s name, among other things, and the sales text mentions collaboration with the artist.
Viinitie Oy’s commercial manager Pasi Ketolainen commented the situation to Iltalehti. According to Ketolainen, the company has cooperated with the artist for three years.

Will the company’s cooperation with Tähkä continue?

Tähkä has published a short statement on social media regarding the charge he received.
– I am not guilty of the alleged things, and I have given my own explanation on the subject to the authorities. I am confident that my innocence will be established in time, hopefully as soon as possible. I will not comment further on the matter at this stage, Tähkä commented to Iltalehte by email on Thursday.
