Gerard Joling in itself has the sympathy of Yvonne Coldeweijer, but she does not like the fact that he spreads untruths about her favorite radio station 100%NL. “It’s not true.”
It is a thorn in the side of many Dutch-speaking singers: the amount airplay on Dutch radio. Gerard Joling recently went completely crazy and called the bobos on the radio ‘bastards’. “For example, I am being boycotted by 100%NL, which has not played me for ten years.”

Yvonne Coldeweijer effortlessly detects a lie here. She says in her podcast The Juice Show: “I thought to myself: huh? That is not true at all! I often listen to 100%NL. No, I honestly listen to 100%NL very often. In between yes, just in between when I’m doing make-up.”
She continues: “I can’t stand English-language pop music by women. That’s ringing in my ear. People who can calling, which is so very pretty, like Beyoncé. I’m not saying I never listen to Beyoncé, because she also has songs that you can tolerate. But I just don’t like that high pitch in a lot of songs chill.”

100%NL doesn’t do Beyoncé. “100%NL is nice, Suzan & Freek. Not that I really like that, but it’s bearable in the background. It doesn’t bother me.”
Anyway: back to Gerard. “I swear to you, this is not true at all what he is saying. A ten-year boycott? I hear him at least once a week! Anyway on that crazy Friday with those crazy songs I hear him. He just passes by. I’m sure.”

Yvonne does not like this of Geer. “In any case, it’s not very neat, because it’s just not right and I think it kind of affects the bond with 100% NL. Why would you say that if it’s not true at all?”
She continues: “I’m like: it doesn’t really matter if it’s something big or small. It’s just about: stop lying for a while, don’t do it. That’s not true, this isn’t right. That is not nice. Oh no? Because I think: okay Geer, if you are lying about this, what else are you lying about?”
