What do you think: Only a Dutch, provincial or municipal flag should hang on a town hall

Making your statement by putting up a flag is nothing new. Recently, for example, we have been dealing with the reversed Dutch flags with which farmers express their dissatisfaction with government policy. This summer a green flag flew above the town hall of Hoogeveen to support the farmers. It was raised to the top at the request of CDA councilor Bert Otten.

The college of mayor and aldermen in Hoogeveen now wants to get rid of statements at the town hall. As far as the college is concerned, there will be no more new flags after the green #trotsopdeboer flag will be removed soon. However, the municipality is examining whether they can make an exception for the rainbow flag.

But this means that, for example, the Ukrainian flag will no longer be flying above the town hall. What do you think? Which flags should hang on a town hall?
