What do you think: I’m tired of the bus strikes

Bus drivers who are members of the FNV again laid down their work this week, because employers refuse to negotiate the current collective labor agreement. They prefer to negotiate the next collective labor agreement, which will come into effect on 1 January.

For travelers, this means that they were the victims of bus cancellations for three days this week. So far, the talks between employers and the FNV have not started. If those talks do not get going, it could just be that bus drivers will go on strike more in the coming period.

It was not the first time that part of public transport has been shut down due to strikes. What do you think? Do you understand that bus drivers are going to extremes for a better collective labor agreement, or do you think drivers should focus better on the collective labor agreement for next year?
