The holiday for the North is just around the corner! And it starts next week with summer temperatures.
Tourist-recreational entrepreneurs in Drenthe expect a well-occupied high season. The average occupancy during the summer holidays in Drenthe is around 70 percent. Holiday parks are even occupied for around 80 percent in the summer.
But for campsites the picture is somewhat less. After two good years, a third of the campsite owners now say they are dissatisfied with the number of bookings. They fear that a lot of people will opt for abroad again this year.
