Britain mourns. Queen Elizabeth passed away yesterday at the age of 96.
Buckingham Palace has announced a period of mourning for seven days after Queen Elizabeth’s funeral. The funeral will be announced later.
Flags on official buildings in Britain went at half mast on Thursday. This will remain so until 8 a.m. local time on the day after the mourning period. At Tea Time in Echten, the flag also flew at half mast as a tribute to the British Queen.
The first bunches of flowers were laid last night at the British embassy in The Hague and candles were lit. Do you also mourn with Great Britain?
