What do the farmers’ protests in Europe have in common?

More than a thousand hikers stood around the European Parliament on Thursday and earlier this week hikers blocked the access roads to Paris. But farmers are not only taking to the streets in Paris and Brussels: protests are taking place everywhere in Europe. Editor Mandula van de Berg sees that these farmer protests have a lot in common and play into the hands of right-wing parties.
