The most interesting game of the day
The Super Bowl, the final game of the American football NFL, is not only the biggest annual sports event in the USA, but also the world’s single largest betting destination. There are thousands of different betting sites available for the entire match and the things that happen around it.
In addition to all the possible and impossible events of the match itself, you can bet on, for example, the color of Rihanna’s shirt or hair, the main performer of the halftime show. Or about who, after the game, the most important player of the match is the first to mention in his acceptance speech. Guessing the length of the national anthem, or forgetting the words to it, is also a popular game, as is the color of the sports drink poured over the head coach of the winning team after the match.
Several bookmakers offer bets on the match starter’s coin toss with a one hundred percent return (2.00/2.00) as a throw-in product. According to the sources, Rihanna has a black shirt and black hair.
According to the financial magazine Forbes, more than 16 billion dollars will be placed on Super Bowl bets in the USA alone this year.
At least there are no “fun destinations” available for this Super Bowl yet.
The balance of power in the match itself may be affected quite a lot this time by the health status of the key players of both teams and the underlying injuries.
Quite often, possible injuries are given too much weight in various matches, but now the quarterbacks of both Philadelphia and Kansas Jalen Hurts and by Patrick Mahomes shoulder and ankle injuries may play a decisive role if they get worse during the game.
When, in addition, the Kansas City Chiefs key forward With Travis Kelce has had problems with his back, so there are more change-sensitive factors in the match’s power relations than normal.
Basically, I consider the Eagles as the favorite in the match, as the team is stronger as a whole. The Chiefs are more dependent on the success of Mahomes, dubbed the best quarterback in the world. Mahomes is hardly in perfect condition in this match.
The Super Bowl starts at 1:30.
The best betting tip of the day
When it comes to betting in the Super Bowl, it feels like going a little against the score of the match.
Both teams are quite offensively powerful thanks to their good playmakers, and both of them are generally considered to be teams with quite a lot of points. Indoor conditions also favor a high-scoring match.
Also, the statistics of the recent history of Super Bowls don’t really support my idea of applying for less than 51 points. In four of the ten previous Super Bowls, over and under 51 points have been scored in four, with exactly 51 points in two. The average score of the last ten Super Bowls is 49 points.
My own thought here is that even though both teams are thought to be/are attack-driven, due to the importance and pressure of the match, the attack of one of the two may still underperform compared to (high) expectations.
The score line of the match is clearly based on both the Eagles and the Chiefs both succeeding specifically in their attacks. Also, the team coaches’ calls to play in an extremely important match may be more conservative and cautious than average.
At this point, I feel like pulling back and playing less than 51 points with a coefficient of 1.87.
Games of the day: PHI Eagles–KC Chiefs, under 51 points (odds 1.87).
The total balance of the day’s games for the year: 11/23/84%
