Flemish Minister of Education Ben Weyts (N-VA) has reached an agreement with the education providers on the attainment targets for the second and third stage of secondary education. The education partners had to reconvene after the Constitutional Court annulled the attainment targets in June. This happened after Catholic Education Vlaanderen had instituted proceedings against it. The Court followed the umbrella of education in the reasoning that the attainment targets are too extensive and thus endanger the freedom of education.
