Flemish Minister of Education Ben Weyts (N-VA) and Flemish Minister of Youth Benjamin Dalle (CD&V) are satisfied with the decision of the Consultation Committee to delete the mouth mask requirement for under-12s from 19 February. “Our children deserve this,” says Weyts in a first reaction. The fact that nightlife can resume again offers young people and students perspective, says Dalle. According to the Federation of Cafés of Belgium, the disappearance of the closing time of the catering industry does not come a day too soon.
