Westtoer offers breathtaking trips to the coast: “An app links you to the perfect trip”

“I don’t think there is any area that is as dynamic and constantly changing as the coast. The coast is the boundary between land and sea,” says wildlife photographer Misjel Decleer. Nature photographer Misjel Decleer comes from Ostend and lives in Bruges. He is the perfect ambassador for Westtoer’s new ‘Breathtaking Places’ campaign.

on the website they bundle the photos into breathtaking trips, divided into different themes. “We also divide the visitor according to profiles. We work according to theme. For example, someone feels more attracted to the nostalgia on the coast, or you want more action. Then you choose per theme or profile and then you come up with a number of tips for trips to the coast”, Westtoer president Sabien Lahaye-Battheu explains.

Also striking, there is also a coast swiper, a variation on the dating app Tinder. You indicate which places you like and based on that you get a ready-made trip. There is also a new handy guide, in which the photographers also give tips.
