West Flemish Santa surprises children in Egypt

The West Flemish Santa brought more than 30 kg of candy for underprivileged children in Egypt. He visited the children in three ‘The Three Corners Hotels’ of the West Flemish Lambrecht family.

For the orphans, Santa’s visit was a big surprise. Some had never seen a Santa before. This year Santa brought not only candy but also collected money for a project for underprivileged, single mothers.

Promotion for Egypt

Koen Hallaert (49) is a teacher in special primary education Wonderwijs Brugge in Assebroek. His wife Isabelle also teaches there. They have a class together and even their care dog Chica goes to school. They live in Oostkamp with their children Lune (22) and Ieben (18).

Koen is also the administrator of the Facebook page ‘Friends of the Red Sea’ and continues to promote tourism in Egypt in this way.
