West Flemish firefighters from B-Fastteam back from Turkey

After three tough weeks in Turkey, Martin Gyselinck and Frederik Dewaele are back in the Nieuwpoort fire station. Together with other logistics volunteers, they have set up more than 50 tents, which together form a field hospital. Although the mission has given them satisfaction, they are also very impressed by what they experienced and saw on site.

B-FAST sets up the emergency hospital in Kirikhan, where the local hospital has been completely destroyed and people can only seek help from the Belgian team. In the meantime, local aid workers are being trained to take over the Belgian field hospital.
