‘Wendy van Dijk’s husband is NOT visible!’

Aran Bade, the entertainment expert of RTL Boulevard, warns people not to simply believe in the picture that Wendy van Dijk is now painting. “Her husband is nowhere to be seen!”

After a period of secrecy and mystery, Wendy van Dijk suddenly decided on New Year’s Eve to make some kind of openness about her marriage to Erland Galjaard. She posted fireworks videos from the balcony of his new ‘bachelor apartment’. The apartment he bought without her.

Marital crisis

Wendy has also posted a holiday photo with Erland, stating that it is her ‘favorite photo’ with her ‘favorite people’ on it. And what else? Her ‘favorite song’ underneath. Islands in the Stream. It could symbolize the two islands of Er and Wen, which are still strong together at a distance from each other. A living apart together relationship.

It is all very striking, says showbiz expert Aran Bade. “The biggest sensational post is made by Wendy van Dijk. We all know there would be a marital crisis with her Erland. He bought a bachelor apartment in Rotterdam. We never saw those two together again,” he explains in the first RTL Boulevard of the year.

Solar plexus

Wendy has never wanted to answer questions about their alleged second marital crisis, Aran emphasizes. “Yes, we had to feel on the solar plexus whether it was right or not. Do you remember, Lex, when you interviewed her and she talked about her inner world and the outer world? Now post they made a video on the balcony of Erland’s apartment.”

Yet Aran warns against the image that Wendy paints – that she happy together are – cannot be taken at face value. Why? Erland himself cannot be seen in those videos from his own balcony. So maybe he was somewhere else. “It remains a guess, because I have not seen Erland. (…) I must say: we have not seen Erland.”

What does Aran think then? He suspects that they were together, but: “I think she got the oliebollen in Nigtevecht and that he gets the oliebollen in Rotterdam and they celebrate it together. I think that is a new form.”

The oliebollen shape. We haven’t had that yet…
