Wendy van Dijk still has very regular contact with her ex-lover Xander de Buisonjé. The two once broke up quite dramatically because he peed outside while she was pregnant.
It is especially their son Sem van Dijk who keeps the contact between Wendy van Dijk and Xander de Buisonjé alive. “Wendy and I often talk to each other on the phone,” he explains in Privé weekly. “Also about Shem. Not because there are problems, but just to keep communicating about him together.”
Calling Wendy
Sem is a kind of fitfluencer these days Instagram, after he previously hoped to break through as a rapper. “We say to each other: ‘What is he going to do, could you help him with that?’ We do not believe that parental assistance stops when a child turns eighteen. Sem can always knock on his father and mother’s door, whatever it is about.”
Would Xander like it if Shem started singing like him? “As a father you are always proud of your child. He has a lot of talent. That’s how he acted, what he got from Wendy. He is very creative and Sem has that from me again. He is really a mixture of his parents.”
Herman Brood
Will Sem be the umpteenth Dutch celebrity with famous parents? “He’s a sweet, nice guy. I have nothing to say about him. He is growing up and has everything in his head. Soon Sem will hear whether he will be admitted to the Herman Brood Academy. We have a lot of contact.”
Finally, people are concerned about Xander’s career because he now sings refrigerators in commercial breaks (see below). Are you okay? “It’s important to draw attention to certain things. Refrigerators that are older than seven years emit so much CO2, it’s unbelievable.”
