In our hospitals it is all hands on deck to treat all children with respiratory problems due to an RSV infection. “At the same time I want to say to their parents: good that you went to the hospital,” says Wendy Stippelmans (45). Seventeen years ago she lost son Kobe to RSV as a baby. “Trusting your gut feeling is the best thing you can do.”
