A National Football Team, which will host Armenia on Friday, 8 September in the 5th match of EURO 2024 Qualification Group D, came to Eskişehir. Having completed their preparations in Istanbul, Milliler landed at Eskişehir Hasan Polatkan Airport with a plane departing from Istanbul Airport. Nationals, who were welcomed by the Federation officials, then went to the hotel where they would stay by bus. At the hotel entrance, players Kerem Aktürkoğlu, Çağlar Soyuncu, Melih Demiral, Hakan Çalhanoğlu and Salih Uçan, who were greeted with the marches of Eskişehirspor’s legendary tribune music band Bando Es-Es, went to the marching band and thanked them for the welcome, and took a souvenir photo with the band team. While the actors did not offend those who wanted to take a photo with them, they went to the hotel where they would stay later.

Eskişehir brings good luck to the A National Football Team. The Nationals had previously defeated Croatia 1-0 in 2017, and defeated Moldova 4-0 at Eskişehir New Atatürk Stadium in 2019.
