When it gets hot in Berlin, the celebrations in Berlin are even hotter: Huge crowds despite the heat and sweat at the lesbian and gay city festival on Nollendorfplatz.

Tens of thousands pushed through Motzstrasse and Fuggerstrasse. Six stages, countless booths. The radio station 98.8 Kiss FM was represented as well as the fire brigade and the army.

Governing Mayor Kai Wegner (50, CDU) also took a seat on the red velvet on the talk show “Das wilde Sofa”. White sneakers, the sleeves of the white shirt rolled up – a (washable) rainbow tattoo on the right forearm became visible.
