Ursula Wolters (74), director Dieter Wedel’s widow, died just a few days after her husband.
The responsible law firm confirmed this on Monday in Munich. Accordingly, Wedel died of leukemia, his wife just 13 days after him of a recently discovered stomach tumor.
Wolters and Wedel met at the age of 27 and were a couple for many years.
Star director Wedel (“Der Schattenmann”) died on July 13 at the age of 82 – shortly before a Munich court wanted to announce whether it would be trying him for a rape allegation.
