Attention motorsport friends! Today at 5:00 p.m. the World Endurance Championship (WEC) starts the 2023 season with the 1000 miles from Sebring.

The 1000 Miles of Sebring in the USA was canceled twice due to the corona pandemic. In 2022 the race had to be stopped early due to local legislation.
Ten minutes before the end of the seventh hour, the red flag was shown due to a thunderstorm warning. Scored after 194 laps.
In a heat battle at well over 30 degrees Celsius, Signatech and Alpine clinched their first overall victory. Andre Negrao, Nicolas Lapierre and Matthieu Vaxiviere dominated the race at will.

The 1000 miles from Sebring will mark the start of the 2023 World Endurance Championship. After that, the WEC entourage will travel to Spa-Francorchamps and the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans, among other places.
