The showers clear up and make way for even colder temperatures. Weatherman Geert Naessens predicts temperatures tomorrow morning that could drop to -3. As the week progresses, the temperature may still drop: “Tomorrow the temperature will only rise very slightly above zero degrees. And then in the night to Tuesday we will be in that really cold air and then by Tuesday morning it could be -4 to -6 degrees. On Thursday morning the temperature could even drop to -8 degrees.”
The cold ensures that the perceived temperature is a lot lower than the real temperature. Naessens gives some tips: “If you go there on foot or by bike, pack well: hat, scarf, gloves, no unnecessary luxury. And don’t forget to turn off the outside taps.”
The frigid temperatures will give way to above-freezing temperatures by the end of the week. “By next weekend the temperatures will go back to 3, 4, 5 degrees.”
