Winter is coming and we are going to feel it. Today it will never get warmer than 3 degrees and tomorrow there may even be snow locally. In the center of the country and in Limburg, up to 5 centimeters of snow can fall in the morning.
Today low clouds again dominate the weather picture and it does not get warmer than 3 degrees. Gradually, more and more high clouds from France are also reaching our country. At the end of the day there may be some rain or melting snow in Belgian Lorraine and part of the Ardennes. In the highest places, normal snow can even fall, reports the RMI. The maxima are usually between 1 and 3 degrees. In the High Fens the temperature can remain slightly negative with persistent low clouds. There is also a moderate and bleak wind from east to northeast.
Tonight we get melting snow from the southeast, turning into snow. The areas in the northwest seem to escape this, with mainly light rain and melting snow. Tomorrow morning a snow layer of up to 5 centimeters can be formed in the Ardennes, but also in the center and Limburg. Minimums between 1 and 3 degrees.
Tomorrow so starts with snow in many places. Later it turns into melting snow and rain and the snow disappears again. Eventually it will be dry, but still cloudy. In the Ardennes it will continue to snow for a large part of the day and the snow layer will grow to 5 to 10 centimeters. Maximum between 0 and 4 degrees.
Tuesday clear spells will appear, but rain showers can also occur, especially in the northwest. Maximum between 0 and 7 degrees.
Wednesday and Thursday do we have to take winter showers into account. On Wednesday the maxima will be around 5 degrees in the center, but on Thursday it will be only 2 to 3 degrees.
